The World of Prophecy originally came to the net as a site that paid close attention to current events and Scriptural prophecy in anticipation of the return of our King, Jesus Christ. As such, we have collected a mixture of believers from many backgrounds who share this passionate watch. Among us are a variety of eschatological positions as some see Scripture a little differently than others. We do all agree in a literal fulfillment of all things that precedes a literal thousand year reign of Christ on the earth.

We understand that our differences are not to divide us because, while we love the study of prophecy, it is a non-essential as it relates to our salvation. Certainly, there are implications for different positions, but we choose not to be divided over the minor doctrinal position.

Rightly, one of the church fathers stated, “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, charity.”

These different positions are debated, sometimes hotly, within our halls, but in the end, love/charity must rule the day. I Corinthians 13:2!!

This page is dedicated, not to debate, but to simply posting a few resources where the diligent student can investigate each position and seek wisdom from the Holy Spirit as He reveals truth in His Word.

Pre-Tribulation Rapture

    Synopsis: The rapture will occur before the tribulation.  Views the entire 70th week as the Day of the Lord.  Generally, treats Israel and the church differently.

Mid-Tribulation Rapture

    Synopsis:  The church will be raptured at the mid point of the 70th week about the time the AntiChrist stands in the Temple and declares himself to be god.

Pre-Wrath Rapture

    Synopsis:  The rapture and the Day of the Lord are the same event that Scripture clearly indicates will happen some time AFTER the Anti-Christ stands in the Temple and declares himself to be god at the mid-point of the seven year peace deal.

• Pre-Wrath Ministries has an excellent, very detailed site that explains the position.  Further, the author identifies the weaknesses in all other positions and demonstrates how the Pre-Wrath answers those questions.  He also has an excellent FAQs section.  Highly recommended.

• Pre-Wrath Rapture is a site styled after a blog with many good article on different aspects of this position.  Worth checking out from time to time.     

Post-Tribulation

   Synopsis:   Generally, this position believes there is no rapture.  Rather, the elect are gathered to the Valley of Decision for the Great White Throne judgment at the end of the age.

        The End-Time Pilgrim serves up a platter full of Scriptural articles from a Post-Trib perspective.  Rich site.

        The Jesus Freak Network has some good Post-Tribulation information.
