The American's Creed is the official creed of the United States of America. It was written in 1917 by William Tyler Page as an entry into a patriotic contest. It was adopted by the U.S. House of Representatives April, 3 of the next year.

"    I believe in the United States of America, as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a perfect union, one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.[1]
   ”

— William Tyler Page, The American's Creed

Much like the Pledge of Allegiance, the American's Creed reflected the American nationalism that became popular after the American Civil War, and can be seen as an opposition to the threat of Communist revolution and a precursor to the First Red Scare.

This is the old creed that has been mentioned in another thread

You know me..............I take great exception to the red bold parts.

A civil war is two or more factions fighting for control of the same government.

The pledge of allegiance was written by a socialist minister. I will stand during it's recital, but no longer utter the words.

Misguided patriotism is a form of idol worship.

Thesis, Anti-Thesis, Synthesis, funny, this is a study I haven't seen here on wop.
It means, two opposing "thoughts", or governments are created, and then disasembled
to create synthesis, union of thought.  Russia was Thesis, the US was created  by the
PTB to create an opposite, Anti-Thesis, the wall came down and now we're supposed
to have synthesis, aka, blending.   Well, in creating this theory, thesis, anti -thesis and
synthesis, it hasn't totally worked yet.  It created "emporers  who are not willing to let go of power and the one world order, aka synthesis, has to deal with powerful egos.
Or maybe this is part of the plan, we are only a few steps away from a one world order,
broken bown by false flag terroism, false flag epidemic scares. poverty, natural disasters
that are just crying out for a global resolve.

I haven't been called upon to recite the "pledge of allegiance" since about 8th grade,
about 44 yrs ago, and I don't beleive any of my 4 children ever were taught this pledge
I recited it with much pride as a child, and feel our children were purposely taught not

to support our country or learn it's history
