SHOCKING NEWS: Saudi Grand Mufti Calls For “Destruction of All Churches”!

Quote
In horrifying news from the Middle East, the highest religious official in Saudi Arabia has declared that Christianity can not be tolerated on the Arabian Peninsula. The International Business Times reports that Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, the grand mufti, proclaimed it “necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.” This shocking pronouncement appears to be a case of fundamentalist one upmanship in the region. Recently Kuwait, Saudi Arabia’s neighbor, put a ban on the construction of all non-Muslim places of worship.

The Grand Mufti, who is the head of the Supreme Council of Islamic Scholars, quoted the Prophet Mohammed who said that the Arabian Peninsula is to exist under only one religion. Christian churches are already banned in Saudi Arabia, so his statement seems to be pressuring neighboring countries to destroy churches there. This decree has enraged Christians across the region and raised fears that churches will come under attack from civilians, regardless of whether the governments mandate their destruction.

Please take a moment to pray for all the Christians in the Middle East. For centuries they have remained steadfast against this kind of intolerance. Pray that this terrible declaration does not get acted upon. Pray for wisdom in the leaders of these Middle Eastern countries, that they may realize the error of attacking the Christian minority. And thank God for the freedom of worship that we so often take for granted.

Get more information about this terrible turn of events from the International Business Times:

I know we don't normally quote the entire article, but this was so short and I'm sure there's more info on the last link of the quote...

Top Saudi Religious Official Calls for 'Destruction of All Churches'

Quote
Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, the highest official of religious law in the Sunni country, reportedly declared this week that it is "necessary to destroy all the churches" in the region, implying that no other religion besides Islam will be tolarated on the Arabian Peninsula -- as there are currently no churches in Saudi Arabia.

Father, may all the world see the Glory of your Son.

http://www.christianpost....released-from-jail-81291/

Quote
Youcef Nadarkhani, the Iranian pastor who captured the hearts of millions as he stood firm in his faith while facing execution, has been acquitted of apostasy.

Two organizations that have closely been monitoring the case and have sources in Iran reported Saturday that Nadarkhani, who went on trial early Saturday, has been released from prison and is at home with his family.

"Thank you to everyone that has supported me with your prayers," Nadarkhani said, according to Present Truth Ministries.

Though acquitted of apostasy, the Iranian pastor was found guilty of evangelizing Muslims. He was sentenced to three years imprisonment but was released because he already served this time.

Article from Christian Today:

Nigeria: The deadliest place to be a Christian
http://au.christiantoday....cledir/print.htm?id=15339

According to the article Nigeria holds the 2012 world distinction for killing 70% (over 900) Christians in the world just because they are Christian, with about 128 this year. In this country it is Islam against Christian.

Please pray.

Is the Pentagon discriminating against Christians?

Pentagon Grilled About Christians in Military

Quote
“It’s been a steady attack on faith and religious freedom that we’ve seen in our military like we’ve never seen before,” Forbes told Fox News. “We are getting a lot of calls from soldiers saying ‘we’re afraid of going to church, we’re afraid to be seen praying, we’re afraid that would hurt our careers, our promotions.’”

Forbes grilled Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel about religious liberty issues during a House Armed Services Committee on Thursday.

This country is in big trouble! Someone is behind the Military pushing them to view Christians as terrorists extremists! There are so far 6 members of the Muslim Brotherhood in the White House! Obama is determine to destroy the Constitution and once he succeeds, I'm positively sure he'll then bring in Sharia Law! I sure hope and pray he doesn't succeed before his time is up in office!

Paul Washer nailed it.

Christians are seen as anti-gay, anti science, anti women. Laws are being enforced not to ensure religious freedom today but to limit and malign Christian influence in all walks of society and label us as rebels and and reactionary forces to be quenched . We have watched it unfold before our very eyes and talked about it for years. The only climate change in the world today is the coldness and hatred of Christians. The net has been cast...we just have not been reeled in but its coming for sure.

Winning High School Runner Disqualified for…Giving Thanks to God?

Quote
Last weekend, Columbus High School Mighty Cardinals (Columbus, Texas) team member Derrick Hayes was preparing for sweet victory — but, despite his win, the excitement was ripped away after he was disqualified for making an apparently unacceptable gesture.

His offense? His father, KC Hayes, claims that Derrick was punished for offering up a simple praise to God while crossing the finish line.

Interesting article WT.

The laws that prevent religious discrimination in this country were never designed to persecute, prosecute, or prevent religious expression. Certainly SOMEONE needs to step out, protest, expose, and tell the story that is now being told of how the Obama administration is discriminating and prosecuting of Christians throughout our land because of our beliefs.

We are the voice that needs to speak up...........before its too late!  Sad

I think it's already too late Sis.  It is as we were told it would be.  I don't think there's ever been another time in History where things have been more Upside Down!  Right is Wrong, Wrong is Right, Evil is Good, Good is Evil...  WOE is proclaimed

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Revelation 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

But we have the Blessed Assurance!  God told us the end - Jesus Christ (and we) Win!!!  Angel Trump1 L praise Jesus Sign praise Angel Trumpet R
