"May Day", and the Merging of the Religious Right and the New Apostolic Reformation - Signs of the Last Days

Show # 210

Podcast

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX         PRESS RELEASE       XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

24 MAY 2010

RADIO HOST DEREK GILBERT REVEALS THE LATEST MERGING OF CHRISTIAN DOMINIONIST FORCES WITH “MAINSTREAM” EVANGELICAL LEADERS, ON THE 24 – 28 MAY 2010 “FUTURE QUAKE” RADIO PROGRAMS

Nashville, TN – Derek Gilbert, host of the popular Internet radio programs “PID Radio” (www.pidradio.com) and “A View From The Bunker”, reveals his and others’ recent research on the alarming rise of “Christian Dominionism” and its recent empowerment alongside major evangelical leadership, with host “Doctor Future” and co-host Tom Bionic, airing daily during the week of 24 May on the “Future Quake” program, broadcast on the Christian talk radio station WENO, 760 AM in Nashville, TN (and archived at http://www.futurequake.com).  Mr. Gilbert and his wife Sharon have been popular Internet radio hosts since 2005, and have uncovered and explored some of the most important, complex and little-known issues and topics that have been woefully ignored by mainstream Christian media.   The topic of this interview is no exception, as Mr. Gilbert shares the latest data he has uncovered on the recent meteoric rise in profile of the “Christian Dominionism” movement, its affiliation with the “New Apostolic Reformation”, and its latest strategy to co-opt mainstream evangelical Christian leadership to further its goals of national, and then world domination.  He explains the origins of the “New Apostolic Reformation” in the work of “apostle” C. Peter Wagner, a Fuller Seminary graduate and specialist in church growth, as well as doctoral mentor to Rick Warren and associate of Ted Haggard, who devised a plan to anoint and place authoritative spiritual “apostles” in key geographic regions, as a means of developing a hierarchical structure and to germinate a blossoming movement.  This movement and its leadership is not merely satisfied with wielding autocratic control over the religious affairs of its adherents and followers, but intends also to control the civil affairs of the residents of its regions of control as well (known as the “shepherding” movement in Christian circles), including citizens not aligned ideologically with the group.  This desire has led to its alignment with the proponents of the “Christian Dominionist” movement, who view a Biblical mandate to “seize dominion” over the earth and its human inhabitants, away from satan whom they believe “stole” it in the Garden of Eden.  They believe a statement in a parable of Christ to “occupy until I come” implies a doctrinal command from Jesus to forcibly seize the power structures of Earth (called the “Seven Mountains of Influence” by them), to then rule in “dominion” over all peoples, creating an earthly “Kingdom of God” by their own efforts, to facilitate and make possible the subsequent return of Christ.  This effort has recently become elevated in profile by their co-opting of major evangelical leaders and conservative elected officials and candidates in their cause, and participation in recent high-profile conferences, such as the “May Day 2010” Conference at the Lincoln Memorial.  Mr. Gilbert “names names” of prominent Christian “leaders” whom have lent support, in a show that sounds an alarm for Christians everywhere.

“Future Quake”, hosted by “Doctor Future”, is a daily Christian interview and news review radio program, focusing on issues and events that will soon impact our collective futures.  It features interviews with international experts on the topics covered (such as recent guests Alvin Toffler, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Alex Jones, Joseph Farah, Chuck Baldwin and Dr. Jerome Corsi), with constructive, intellectual discussions intended to better inform the public and provide useful information to prepare for the days ahead.  It airs each weekday at 4 PM on WENO, 760 AM in Nashville, TN, the most popular Christian talk station in Middle Tennessee, and extending into much of the Mid-South.  For those that miss the live broadcast, prior shows are archived in .mp3 format for listening on demand at http://www.futurequake.com, or available as a podcast (under “future quake”) at I-Tunes (www.itunes.com).

This is a very interesting listen.... because this Apostolic Church was already in Australia too way back in the early 80's and we actually went to one, but did not stay all that long.

there is one thing and I don't want to seem that I am nit-picking, but....in the first half hour Derek says that the Apostle Paul said he was the "last of the Apostles"
well,,, I can't find that in the Bible anywhere, all I could find was Paul saying that he was the "LEAST of His apostles....by just leaving out one letter changes the whole word some what! I had also heard this from some one else and, Derek almost word for word repeated what this other person said...

then later on he says.." didn't pay attention and it completely slipped by me..." but this was about something else...wished he'd paid more attention to this slip too.....I hope I am wrong, but as I said, I cannot find anywhere in the New testament about the apostle Paul saying that HE was the last apostle. can any one help me out here?

Great show Doc. & Tom. I can’t wait to hear you being interviewed on PID.
How eye opening that all apostate’s, without even knowing it are coming together to promote or fit into a one world “Christianity”. Then will embrace with a big group hug all faiths.
It was the same Spirit that wanted Jesus to change the ruling authorities of the day that screamed “crucify him”. It amazes me how denominational and individual doctrine can be built around of a couple passages (usually old testament) taken out of context. But what really amazes me is that old solid preachers will associate themselves with them.
I have a bumper sticker on my bike that says "The Christian Right is neither". Not one person has deciphered it.

WOP is full of good Bereans.                                            I love Brien’s:               DBA

Good point Chipper.

I think though....Derek may be referring in that statement not a scriptural quote but a doctrinal truth that the "foundation of the church" was completed with Paul and the 12 Apostles thus refuting the argument of present day apostles.

Really good show! Of course I am a particular fan of PID and love the work of Derek and Sharon as well as their loving relationship which they share in such a wonderful way with all who are strangers to them on their shows.
I love and pray for them and with them!

Bless you, Dr Future and Bionic for your courage to expose this false theology as well as the many beloved who have been reporting on this for some time.  It really saddens me to see the careful web being built today between evangelicals and dominionism which could be a major stumbling block and dead end road to many! But not only evangelicals but all the protestant denominations...not to mention the cults!

Yikes...some of the name dropping in this show was new to me. BTW...has any one been following godtv?
The founders and programming are a like image and platform for this false doctrine.

How cool the listening of this show came at the same time I was studying 2Corinthians 10!
Spiritual warfare in the church? You better believe it! There is so much encouragement for the brethren to understand and be encouraged by the boldness of Paul as he addresses false teachings in the church!

One point that may be worth some understanding is the fact that the RCC holds the doctrine that its church leadership are functioning as apostles. Could this false doctrine be the origin of the theological error of apostolic succession spilling over the Church today?

could well be...together with their claim that Peter was the first Pope.

Just goes to show you this error is nothing new.

What does worry me is how believers are being conditioned to "find commonality clothed in niceness" instead of the fierce and bold confrontation of this in the example of Paul. Please do not misunderstand what I mean by niceness here.....but the way I understand scripture is that we are to carry the sword of the spirit , the Word of God as our defense against such false teachers. There is a right way to do this however which calls for wisdom.

Great show! What was particularly eyebrow-raising to me was the large list of names that are on board with this movement, or at the very least tacitly associated in a blissfully unaware state. The WND names especially...

LDS/Mormon doctrine also teaches that they are the only apostolic succession, that the Apostle John baptized Joseph Smith.

Do the Mormon's believe in time travel then?  ROTF

Then again, the Mormon church is just plain freaky. This image is REAL

I seem to have started derailing the thread... I'll touch on that gem another time.

I'm seriously looking forward to listening to this FQ show. It sounds awesome (even more so than usual)! Now I'm off to research pentagrams again...

Chris.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Interesting picture Savant! I checked out the source link and thought it was a good site exposing Mormon heresy.
Would be a good addition to our exposing false religions board. Was very interesting to read about the masonic  foundation and shared symbols with the Mormons.

Not to far off topic...satan has been feeding the sheep false prophets and apostles since the beginning of the church (and even longer!). Behind every cult you will find them. They are in the church today.
They devastate minds and lives with their falsehood and lead sheep to destruction.

I believe this movement to follow false shepherds is descriptive of the great apostasy in the end times.
The phrase "MAYDAY MAYDAY" is right on.

Jude 1:17-23
1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

2 Peter 3:3
3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

The really sad thing is how the sheep follow them. We are all watchman in this sense and must be bold to
share the Biblical Truth in love in Jesus' name.
